Paros beaches at a glance
The twelve beaches below are grouped by area: the bay of Naoussa in the north, the east coast, and the south and west. The order is a convenient route, not a ranking. Descriptions of facilities come from municipal tourism pages, so expect seasonal changes in how much is open.
Sunbed rental, minimum spend and parking are handled beach by beach. Ask before you sit down.

East coast
The east coast beaches sit along the bus line from Parikia through Lefkes to Piso Livadi, Logaras, Golden Beach and Drios.
6. Golden Beach (Chrysi Akti)
A sandy beach on the east coast with surf clubs and accommodation. A surf club here offers equipment rental and private or group lessons on the beach.
7. Logaras
A sandy beach next to Piso Livadi, with tavernas and accommodation. It has a stop on the bus timetable valid 19 to 30 October 2026.
8. Molos
A wide sandy bay between Kefalos and Antikefalos, with a small harbor in the south. A kite school here lists windsurf lessons at €50 per hour and kite lessons at €90 per person per hour, on a price list without a date. Check the current rates.
South, west and Lageri
9. Lageri
Sand, dunes and trees. An older municipal description gives a walk of 10 to 15 minutes from the Zoodochou Pigis bus stop. Check the current bus service before you plan around it.
10. Pounta (west)
A sandy beach south of the pier for the Antiparos ferry, with surf and kite spots. The municipality warns of rough sea and little natural shade. A kite school here lists April to October as its season.
11. Faragas
A larger and several smaller sandy stretches on the south coast. Rocks act as a windbreak. There is little natural shade.
12. Aliki
A village beach in the south with trees and places to eat. A bus line runs from Parikia to Aliki.

Names that get mixed up
Pounta on the west coast, next to the Antiparos ferry pier, is a different place from Punda Beach on the east coast. Punda Beach lies on the bus sequence between Logaras and Golden Beach. Check which one you mean before you set off.
Golden Beach and New Golden Beach are also two separate names, so check which one your map or driver means.
Lifeguards, wind and swimming
The municipal lifeguard contract covers 2025 and 2026, from 1 June to 30 September, daily 10:00 to 18:00. Cover is listed beach by beach, so look for the lifeguard post before you swim. Outside those hours and dates, swim with extra care.
A description such as "sheltered from the wind" is a general note about the place, not a forecast for your day. The municipality warns of rough sea at Pounta, and the Meltemi wind is strongest in July and August. For the season, read our Paros weather guide.
Travelling on to the next island? Antiparos has its own beaches, and our things to do in Paros page covers walks and sights between swims.
Getting to the beaches
The island bus reaches several beaches on this list: Logaras, Punda Beach and Golden Beach on the east coast line, Aliki on the line from Parikia, and the pier at Pounta for the Antiparos ferry. The lowest full fare is €2.20, a half fare is €1.10 and a day ticket for the island network is €12. Pay by bank card only. Timetables change by season, so check the current one.
If you drive, public parking areas lie at the village entrances, and near Naoussa they are at the entrance toward Santa Maria. Fees are not listed here, so check on the spot. For ferries and the airport bus, see our Athens to Paros guide.
Water sports
Golden Beach Surf Club offers equipment rental and private or group windsurfing lessons on the beach. At Pounta in the west, a kite school lists April to October as its season. Local water sports and boat trips are also a good way to see the coast from the water.
